You Can Do to Be a Bridge to the People Around You
The whole temperature of Planet Earth is geared to three different emotions, and our job is to know when to use them:
There’s pain in the air and suffering has made its mark. Being able to dip into a heart filled with grace and provide care is bringing heaven to Earth.
Sometimes there’s a chance to do something truly significant, but it is buried under inconvenience or arrives on a day when we’ve already determined that “we’re too busy.” Yet, for those who are aware and have tuned their ears, eyes and passions to possibility, these little treasures can carry you into the future and place you in great positions.
When bigotry or fear has shut down the world around us, Planet Earth needs someone to step out of the box of conformity and do something different. This always provides immediate benefit. Can we dare to do it?

Today’s “3 Things” is provided by Steve Kimbrell.
On the left in the picture above, Steve (in the red plaid shirt) is seen with Jonathan and friends in Santa Clara, California, circa 1988. On the right Steve celebrates Christmas much more recently.
Jon Cring, as I always called him, was my friend for forty years.
As friends often do, we had our ups and downs. We fought sometimes, but we made up. We agreed and disagreed.
There were times I left him, but we always found our way back to each other.
Most of the time I was there for him and he for me. He was just a phone call away.
He taught me numerous things. Below are three of them:
When I recently lost my sister and my aunt he taught me that there is no time limit on grieving. And when you can, obtain normalcy as soon as possible because that will give you strength.
As I applied these lessons to my life, it has made living simpler and easier.
And for that I am very grateful.

Today’s 3 Things (X 3) is brought by Angela Cring.
Three things that I learned from my friend Jon Cring that I’ve already used this morning before 8:30 A. M.:
1. Wake up early and with a good attitude.
2. When checking out with cashiers, never leave them like you found them. Always ask how they’re doing and give them a smile.
3. Be generous with those who are just downstairs from you and give of yourself when you can.
Three things that I learned from my friend Jon Cring that I used before lunch today:
1. Be on time. Stay in integrity and when you are not going to be on time, communicate. Let people know you’re going to be late.
2. Don’t overthink your writing and don’t edit as you go. Just write and keep writing. Have confidence in the process.
3. When you are irked by someone, say it immediately. Don’t wait. Over time it gains unnecessary heat and shouldn’t be allowed.
Three things that I learned from my friend Jon Cring that I used before dinner today:
1. Your children are just boarders in your house for a season. They do not own the house and should be prioritized accordingly.
2. Someone is always watching what you are doing–even if you don’t see them. So do what is right, always.
3. Evil wins when it convinces us that good has to fight.
Angela Cring is the proud daughter-in-law of the great Jonathan Cring, an Event Producer and Speaker in South Florida.
